TFT Season 13 Rebel Composition
Although not an overly weak composition, the Rebel team from TFT Season 13 still has several critical weaknesses. A prime example is that the strongest effect of this trait – stunning all opponents – only activates when players reach 7 Rebels. At that point, players will find it difficult to activate additional defensive traits (aside from the 2 Protectors with Irelia and Illaoi), making this composition very vulnerable to being taken down.

To address this weakness, Riot Games has increased the health boost effect of the Rebel trait to 15% in the upcoming 13.5 patch. This change will make the Rebel composition much more resilient during the mid-game, allowing carry champions more time to deal damage. Combined with strong attack stats and a powerful stun effect at the 7-unit mark, the Rebel composition is likely to make a strong “comeback,” possibly even leading the new meta.
TFT Season 13 Iron Fist Fighter Composition
Designed around the concept of using melee carry champions, the Iron Fist Fighter composition quickly faded into obscurity in the TFT Season 13 meta. The reason lies in players effectively utilizing tank champions and numerous crowd control effects, which significantly diminished the power of melee carry champions. If players cannot reroll or find a rare unit to upgrade Violet to 4 stars, the Iron Fist Fighter composition will have no chance of winning.

In patch 13.5, Riot Games has implemented reasonable adjustments to “revive” this composition. Notably, the amount of true damage and healing capability at 6 Iron Fist Fighters will be significantly buffed, maximizing their ability to withstand fights. Additionally, Draven has also received a 10% Attack Damage buff at 3 stars, promising to be a notable carry in the new patch.
TFT Season 13 Flex Herald Composition
Once considered a powerful playstyle, the Flex Herald composition has gradually disappeared from the meta as several weaknesses became apparent. A key issue is that Ambessa is too easily controlled and lacks enough finishing damage against opponents late in the game, even when at 2 stars. Furthermore, when equipped with multiple damage items, Ambessa can still be taken down too quickly by enemy backline carries. As a result, this composition finds itself in a “difficult spot,” requiring many expensive champions while providing low value.

These issues will be somewhat resolved in patch 13.5, as the Herald trait will enhance health gain for all allies. Moreover, Ambessa will also receive a basic Attack Damage buff, enabling this unit to deal significantly better damage from both auto-attacks and abilities. Riot has even significantly buffed Ambessa’s damage at 3 stars, ensuring this unit can effectively “carry the team” when fully invested.
