The Quirky Team Composition of TFT Season 12
In recent versions of TFT Season 12, the Quirky composition has received significant attention from Riot with continuous strong buffs. The newly launched patch 14.19 is no exception as they have increased both the basic AD and the health of the summoned beasts at the 3/5/7 champion thresholds. This means that the Quirky team composition will possess tremendous power in the late game when the Thousand-Eyed Beast has both high damage and great durability.

However, achieving such power is not easy as the Quirky trait has some rather “critical” weaknesses. One of them is the lack of a truly strong carry to “bear the damage” and help players maintain health until the late game. Syndra was once a champion that fit this role, but she has been heavily nerfed in previous patches. Therefore, players should only pursue the Quirky composition if they have many Support Augments and a strong start, maintaining a good amount of gold and health.
The Warrior Team Composition of TFT Season 12
With the meta leaning towards the “Fast 8” playstyle in the previous patch, the 2-3 cost reroll team compositions have had a hard time competing. This is because TFT Season 12 has too many Augments providing experience, gold, and necessary tools to quickly achieve strength with the “Fast 8” strategy. In contrast, the 2-3 gold reroll strategy carries a lot of risks and can lead to extreme weakness. A notable example is the reroll Warrior composition with Nilah and Akali, which has not appeared in the recent 14.18 meta.

This could change in patch 14.19 as Riot has significantly buffed the Warrior system, especially increasing overall damage and lifesteal at the 4 champion threshold. Furthermore, Akali has also received a substantial damage increase from her abilities, allowing her to more easily “assassinate” the backline carries of opponents. These are perfect conditions to help the Warrior reroll composition make a strong comeback.
Jinx and Friends Team Composition of TFT Season 12
Being a 3-cost champion, Jinx and the compositions revolving around her have also faced significant challenges in the “Fast 8” meta of the previous patch. Moreover, the basic damage dealt by this unit was not impressive enough, causing Jinx to gradually become extremely weak. However, things seem to be set for a major change in patch 14.19 as Riot has heavily buffed the basic damage of Jinx’s skills.

This will significantly boost the output damage of this unit, and Jinx will have enough capability to “carry” in the late game. It’s worth noting that in patch 14.19, many “Fast 8” compositions like Cannoneers and Mystics have been nerfed quite heavily and are no longer as overwhelmingly strong. This presents a great opportunity for reroll compositions like Jinx or Warriors to rise to the top of the new meta.
