Hextech Rock
When introduced in TFT, Hextech Rock will provide the champion equipped with it 40 AP. Moreover, when the champion deals magic damage, this item will reduce the target’s magic resistance by 3 points, and the effect can stack. If the target’s magic resistance reaches 0, the effect will be replaced by restoring 5 energy to the champion holding Hextech Rock.

This effect proves to be extremely powerful on magic damage carries as it provides a very effective way to reduce the target’s magic resistance. Furthermore, if players combine Storm Crossbow in the front line and Hextech Rock for their carries, it will significantly lower the opponent’s magic resistance. As a result, the magic damage carries will deal devastating damage frequently due to the energy restoration effect. Therefore, most magic damage carries utilize Hextech Rock effectively, notably Syndra, Lux, Alune, Azir…
Fighter’s Glove
The impressive point of this item is that it provides up to 80% attack speed for the champion holding it, a very large number. Moreover, Fighter’s Glove also allows the champion to move 20% faster and be immune to the Chill effect (which reduces attack speed). In fact, the size reduction effect of this item does not bring any disadvantages to the champion holding it.

With the immense attack speed gained, Fighter’s Glove will significantly enhance the damage output of carries (both melee and ranged). Furthermore, this item directly counters Morgana’s widespread attack speed reduction skill. Therefore, Fighter’s Glove is likely to become an extremely strong item in countering the Ulinh and Sage compositions that are rising strongly in patch 14.9.
Rapid Firecannon
Once removed by Riot Games from TFT, Rapid Firecannon has now returned and is much more powerful than before. Specifically, besides its basic effect of increasing attack range by 1, Rapid Firecannon will continue to increase the attack range with each elimination made by the champion holding it. This allows the champion with Rapid Firecannon to snowball in fights by continuously eliminating opponents from a safe distance.

With the return of Rapid Firecannon, it is likely that melee carries will be significantly enhanced starting from patch 14.9. Even champions like Volibear and Lee Sin perform extremely well with this item as they have immense damage on each hit. There is a strong possibility that the Duelist composition will dominate the meta in the new version thanks to the emergence of Rapid Firecannon.
Conclusion
With extremely powerful and somewhat “game-breaking” effects, Hextech Rock, Fighter’s Glove, and Rapid Firecannon promise to create a significant impact in TFT in patch 14.9. If players have the opportunity to acquire any of these items, they should make the most of them to quickly rank up.
