Unique Path
First appearing at the beginning of Season 6, the Unique Path trait promises to bring a fresh breeze to Teamfight Tactics as it supports a playstyle that bypasses traits and solely utilizes powerful champions. Indeed, if you can successfully build a team composition with the Unique Path trait, it can become extremely dominant with massive health and attack speed. Despite its great potential, the Unique Path trait currently has the lowest pick rate in Teamfight Tactics according to the statistics from Tactics.tools.

The first reason for this situation is that players still tend to build team compositions based on specific traits, making it hard for the Unique Path trait to achieve high pick rates. Moreover, Riot Games indirectly nerfed this trait by removing a series of champions that could effectively utilize the Unique Path trait, such as Trundle, Akali, etc. As a result, players may want to choose it but have to overlook the Unique Path trait due to the lack of key champions to fully exploit its power.
Natural Evolution
To say it bluntly, this is one of the most gold-saving traits as players no longer need to spend money to buy experience. Therefore, all the money you earn in-game while possessing the Natural Evolution trait will be used to roll champions, which is very suitable for reroll compositions. Perhaps for this reason, the compositions that utilize the Natural Evolution trait often have an overwhelming number of 2-3 cost champions.

However, having to determine the playstyle too early makes the Natural Evolution trait less favored among many players. Essentially, in the early game, it is very difficult to decide whether you will play towards reroll or saving gold. There are still too many early rounds ahead, and variables can diminish the value of the Natural Evolution upgrade, putting players at a disadvantage with this technology trait.
Perfect Pair
Essentially, the Perfect Pair trait is quite similar to the Unique Path trait as it changes the way players build their teams in a completely different manner. Of course, with the Perfect Pair trait, you only need to sacrifice one position in your lineup, but that is often enough for players to overlook this upgrade. The reason being that in a complete team composition, all units are closely linked with each other, so sacrificing just one piece is already a significant challenge.

Additionally, very few compositions can fully harness the power of the Perfect Pair trait. Perhaps only the Gang team with Ahri or Braum fits well with this trait as their strength comes from the threshold of 5 Gang champions rather than relying on systems like Sorcerers or Guardians. Therefore, at this time, the Perfect Pair trait, despite having the highest pick rate (tier II), is still only at 0.675%.
