Instead of being built to win or directly attack the opponent’s champions, these compositions are designed to attack… the psychology of other players because they are just too annoying.
Here is a list of compositions that few want to face in Season 2:
“Swarm” Composition
Most Teamfight Tactics players are annoyed when facing a composition with… too many targets on the board. With this composition, that annoyance will double when activating 6 Forest to have 10 champions on the board, where Malzahar, Annie, and Yorick will fill the board with their summoned monsters. The main damage dealer could be Lux or Neeko or… it doesn’t matter, as this is simply an entertaining composition that greatly frustrates the opponent.
“Meat Shield” Composition
With this composition, the opponent will hit until their hands are sore but still find it hard to take down. With the activation of 6 Guardians, each Guardian champion will have an average of 800 to 1000 armor and 140 magic resistance. This will be an incredibly “tanky” composition, with Nasus charging in both literally and figuratively. With the items and activated traits + systems, Nasus will become a mobile meat shield with up to… 10,000 health every time he uses his ability, burning enemy health with massive damage.
Meanwhile, this composition will become significantly stronger every 7 seconds thanks to the Moon trait, and with the toughness, healing, and buffs constantly coming from Janna, Karma, Thresh, Taric,… the opponent will be extremely frustrated.
Zed “One Man Against the Mafia” Composition
This composition will revolve around Zed with 2 signature items: Redemption and Guardian Angel, while the remaining item could be Storm Bow or Dragon Claw,… depending on the situation.
With this composition, Zed will jump straight to the backline of the enemy and continuously deal damage with his Lightning passive and his shadows. Meanwhile, the remaining summoned champions will buy time for Zed to duplicate and recover with Redemption. In many situations, Zed alone and his shadows can impressively take on the entire enemy team. Therefore, many players find it very frustrating to deal with this strategy, especially squishy compositions like Mages or Marksmen see Zed as a top threat.
Assassin Composition
With 6 Assassins activated, Qiyana will be the main damage source with skill crits reaching up to 1800 damage at 2 stars. Or with Kha’Zix, each crit will make the opponent vanish in an instant and select the next victim immediately.
In the frontline, the trio of tanks will be Malphite (to activate Earth with Qiyana), Renekton (to activate Sand with Kha’Zix), and Lux (to activate Steel with Nocturne). Finally, the last pieces costing 5 gold like Zed only serve to complete the Assassin composition, and if you have Redemption, that’s fine because this composition needs extra healing.
And because the Assassin composition usually jumps in from behind to engage, it makes it very difficult to know when to place tank champions behind in all rounds. This makes many players extremely frustrated.
