Kai’Sa – Quick Draw
In the recent patch 13.8, Kai’Sa – Quick Draw was an extremely powerful and popular composition at all ranks in Teamfight Tactics. With strong damage output from mid to late game, players could snowball quite easily with Kai’Sa. Moreover, the addition of Miss Fortune in the late game made this composition even harder to defeat.
Therefore, Riot Games has decided to comprehensively nerf this composition in the upcoming patch 13.9. Specifically, Kai’Sa and Miss Fortune will see a reduction in their skill damage. Additionally, the bonus attack speed provided when using Kai’Sa’s skill will also be significantly reduced. These changes will clearly weaken the Kai’Sa – Quick Draw composition in the future.
Laser Corps
Although not directly nerfed, the snowballing potential of this composition will be significantly affected in the upcoming patch 13.9. The reason is that Riot has limited the Heart cores; the Laser Corps units can only appear in stage 4-2.
This makes it significantly more difficult for players to reach 4 or 5 Laser Corps champions. With a composition that relies heavily on activating large thresholds like Laser Corps, this is a considerable nerf. Perhaps this composition will no longer be as safe a playstyle for climbing ranks as it currently is.
Aegis
The greatest strength of the current Aegis compositions lies in their tankiness and the crowd control provided by Garen. This creates an excellent environment for backline carries to deal damage effectively. Furthermore, Garen is often used as a strong standalone unit thanks to the good effects he brings.
Therefore, Riot Games has adjusted Garen in the upcoming patch to reduce this character’s power. Specifically, the Guardian system will provide less armor at the threshold of 4 champions, making Garen less tanky. In addition, Garen’s maximum energy will be increased to 200. This will significantly weaken Aegis compositions in the upcoming patch.
