Teamfight Tactics Set 5.5 is approaching, and at this moment, some new mechanics have been revealed by Riot that will appear in the new season. Among them, the most notable are Tome of Emblems and Divine Blessing – two special mechanics that could have a significant impact on TFT once they are introduced.
With Tome of Emblems, this will appear as a special item with an extremely rare drop rate and requires players to always have an empty slot in the bench to place the Tome. If players have filled all positions in the bench, the Tome will not be able to appear. This item will provide players with the choice of 4 random traits and, of course, each player can only choose once.
As for Divine Blessing, this item will be available to all players if their health drops below 40. Divine Blessing will contain gold, component items, special items (Neeko’s Help, Dice, Magnet…), Golden Shovel, and even champions. Usually, players will only drop below 40 health from the mid to late game, so Divine Blessing will be a good item to consider for turning the game around, especially for those players who are at a disadvantage due to a lack of necessary items or champions.
However, because these items drop only once, players must calculate carefully and have backup strategies in case the item does not drop as desired. Set 5.5 will officially update on July 22 (Vietnam time), and from now until then, Riot will have many more “teasers” for players to study while also preparing to “learn to play from the beginning” when the new season truly arrives.
