Teamfight Tactics season 5.5 has been live for nearly a month now, introducing various new updates and adjustments. Many new champions have joined to replace those that have officially departed this season. However, despite numerous updates and changes, some bugs remain unresolved by Riot. The most notable recently is a bug related to trait emblems.
For some traits, such as Celestial or Vanguard, to achieve the highest trait threshold, players definitely need to use emblems due to the limited number of available champions. However, there is a bug existing in Teamfight Tactics that causes the champion carrying the emblem not to be displayed for activating the trait, and even if the champion is on the board, it does not count, meaning their power only derives from the existing traits and does not include the trait associated with the emblem they carry.
Recently, a player captured a screenshot of their team composition at 9 champions with Garen carrying a Celestial emblem. However, the data displayed only showed 8 Celestial champions. According to this player, because they could not activate the highest threshold of Celestial (which provides 75 Armor and Magic Resistance and grants 100% ability power), they ultimately lost and placed only in the top 2.

According to some other players, this bug is not new and is not only present with the Celestial trait; other traits like Vanguard have also experienced similar visibility issues and have failed to activate their trait power. Notably, this bug has existed for quite some time, and some players have encountered it multiple times.

Along with the bug that deducts health even in winning rounds or the occasional “stuck” Kalista bug, the trait emblem display and activation bug is one of the many issues that have persisted for a long time in Teamfight Tactics without thorough resolution from Riot. Players are often the ones who suffer the consequences whenever this bug appears, which can even lead to the loss of the entire match.
