The Power of the Holy Riven System
For those who have been closely following Teamfight Tactics for years, players know that the ability to dash is incredibly powerful in this game. Not only does it provide pure mobility, but the dash ability often causes enemy champions to lose their target on the player’s units. This allows damage dealers with this ability to survive and close in on the backline extremely well.

In Teamfight Tactics Season 10, Riot has even granted the dash ability for free to the Holy Riven system. Therefore, this team composition proves to be extremely strong and creates many surprises in combat. This is a necessary condition to overcome the currently dominant strategies like Jazz – Miss Fortune or Country – Samira.
Building the Holy Riven Team
Players should start with Yasuo in the Star Guardian form of the Holy Riven system to ensure high damage output. Next, Kennen and Kayle will be essential additions to activate the 2 True Damage and 3 Holy Riven threshold. This will make Yasuo very strong and capable of carrying this team through the early game.

In the mid-game, players should look to add more Holy Riven units to quickly activate the 5 champion threshold. By level 7, players will sell Yasuo to transition to Riven in the Holy Riven Star Guardian form. After that, it’s a slow roll process to upgrade important champions like Riven, Mordekaiser to 3 stars.

After successfully upgrading Riven to 3 stars, level 8 will be the goal for players to aim for. At that point, Viego and Kayn will be great additions to complete the 7 Holy Riven threshold to maximize Riven’s damage output.

With this composition, Riven really needs 2 defensive items including Bloodthirster and Mercury’s Cloak. The remaining item should be Giant Slayer to increase the durability of this champion. A small note is that players should assemble Moonstone Renewer in this composition since both Riven and Viego deal physical damage.
Conclusion
With the rare advantage of not having to compete for carries, the Holy Riven team proves to be a quite effective ranking strategy. The troublesome dash ability of this system will help players a lot in countering the currently leading meta compositions in Teamfight Tactics.
