Currently, TFT season 6.5 has gone through some time, and players have been able to gain their own experiences and distinct opinions about the new season. Along with that, the lineups being used by players have become somewhat… boring due to the frequent appearances of familiar faces like Twitch and Renata…
For this reason, some players have decided to “create” unique builds to “spice things up” after a long period of continuously spamming familiar lineups. Recently, a build has shown to be quite effective, revolving around the low-cost champion that TFT players are experimenting with: Warwick 7 Mutant.

Overview and Operation
Warwick is a 2-cost champion belonging to the Chemtech – Challenger traits. With a low price and often underrated, even in the Challenger build, the Rampaging Beast is not often favored by players for upgrading to 3 stars. However, with the right combination, Warwick can indeed be a reliable source of damage. And Mutant is the trait that will enable Warwick to truly become a powerhouse.
In this build, the most effective items should be those that provide power to the Mutant trait or Challenger trait, so champions like Kha’Zix or Kassadin can also benefit from the Challenger bonus late in the game. Additionally, players need to have the Mutant emblem to equip Warwick.

In the early game, players will not find it difficult to acquire Warwick early on. In fact, if lucky, it is entirely possible to upgrade to 2 stars even before entering round 1-4. In such cases, it is necessary to push for the use of the Mutant build. Other champions besides Warwick at this stage that players can easily acquire include Kassadin and Rek’Sai. Adding any Brawler champion can help provide some toughness in the early game, such as Illaoi, for example.

Moving into the mid-game, once players have Cho’Gath, they need to add it immediately. However, players should note that Cho’Gath will take up 2 slots on the board. During this stage, players should aim to reach level 6 to have at least 5 champions on the board. However, it is crucial that Warwick upgrades to 3 stars as quickly as possible to avoid being “outpaced” in the late game.

By the late game, players will complete the Warwick 7 Mutant build at level 8 with the addition of Kai’Sa. Since Warwick is the main damage dealer, Kai’Sa and Kha’Zix can either stay at 1 star or upgrade to 2 stars without issue. The key is to ensure all champions and proper items for Warwick are in place. The complete lineup at the end of the game will be: Cho’Gath – Warwick – Rek’Sai – Malzahar – Kai’Sa – Kha’Zix – Kassadin.

Strengths and Weaknesses
Incorporating Warwick into the Mutant build will address the damage issue for this lineup before Kha’Zix and Kai’Sa arrive. Additionally, with Kai’Sa having the Challenger trait, it will further enhance Warwick’s effectiveness late in the game. Not to mention the quality of the frontline, and let’s not forget about the burst damage potential from Cho’Gath or Kha’Zix.
However, this is a build that requires a lot of items and traits. Therefore, Warwick 7 Mutant should only be used as a situational lineup. But if executed well, players will be surprised by the strength of the Rampaging Beast.
