Despite being meticulously designed and extensively tested on the PBE, some traits and classes in Teamfight Tactics: Galaxy Unending have proven to be quite weak and underused upon their official launch. The two traits, Shadow and Trickster, are currently facing this issue, as only a few units like Jhin and Shaco from Shadow can effectively utilize the trait, while Trickster is easily countered.

Meanwhile, a slew of individually powerful units like Gangplank and Ezreal are currently dominating Teamfight Tactics. Even if you’re not playing Pirates, Gangplank remains a terrifying unit with wide-area damage and crowd control; when his ability is upgraded, he’s nothing short of a monster. Ezreal, on the other hand, possesses a skill that deals significant damage along with an extremely annoying effect.

Therefore, Riot has made some adjustments on the PBE server, specifically:

Riot Mortdog: “There will be no 10.6b patch this week, the next update will be patch 10.7 on April 1st.
We understand the sensitive state of 5-cost units and the Rebel composition; we are witnessing a pretty good meta across all ranks, with various playstyles achieving certain successes. We want patch 10.6 to continue running without any changes.
As mentioned, there will be many changes updated to the PBE tomorrow. We have received a lot of great data and feedback in the first week and hope to continue improving the game. We also have changes regarding the system, such as damage, gold, and win/loss streaks.

Let’s be clear. Even after balancing, there will always be compositions where a 2-star Gangplank with 3 upgrades, Infinity Edge and 2 Archangels Staff, buffed by 6 Sorcerers can wipe your team. That’s acceptable. Right now, it’s happening, and it’s too early for us to be sure about anything; Gangplank will receive some nerfs in patch 10.7.”

A player asked: “Assassins seem quite weak at this time, what does the data say about them?”
Riot Mortdog: “Assassins need a buff, and that will happen in patch 10.7.”

A player asked: “Can you reduce some of the negative effects of Ezreal? A 2-star Ezreal deals too much damage compared to other units in that composition.”
Riot Mortdog: “Ezreal will be nerfed in patch 10.7.”
With what has been revealed, Gangplank and Ezreal will definitely face power reductions in the upcoming patch; they are both extremely powerful champions with high damage skills and negative effects. This nerf may cause the two units to rely more on compositions rather than just reaching 2 stars and demolishing the enemy team as they do now.

Changes have been updated:
Shadow (reworked)
Old effect: When a Shadow champion dies, it grants the nearest Shadow champion bonus damage equal to all stacks of this effect.
New effect: When a Shadow champion dies, all allied Shadow champions gain additional AD and AP.
(3) +25 AD and AP.
(6) +40 AD and AP.

This update for Shadow may cause the two core units, Jhin and Shaco, to deal less damage but greatly increases the versatility of the remaining units. Other units like Mordekaiser, Karma, Jarvan IV, and Lux will be significantly stronger instead of just being purchased to fill the team composition as they are now.

Trickster
Removed the combo of 4 champions; now with a 2-champion combo, all Trickster attacks increase the energy used for the next skill of the target by 40%.

A significant buff for the Trickster system as you only need 2 units to have the current 4 Trickster effect. After all, Trickster is a situational system, so using it as a main combo is extremely difficult; hopefully, this buff will provide players with more options to counter teams that rely on abilities from their opponents.
