Warriors Gain an Additional 10% Shield
The fact is that compositions centered around 6 Warriors are extremely weak at the moment. Riot Games has acknowledged this and stated that they would look for ways to strengthen the Warrior team to bring them back into the meta of Teamfight Tactics. However, all that Riot has done in patch 11.19 is simply increase the shield amount for 6 Warriors from 40% to 50% based on the maximum health of the champions.

For 2-3 gold Warrior units, the additional shield in patch 11.19 only amounts to between 108 and 144 at 2-star level. This number is too small for the late game and not worth pursuing the 6 Warrior threshold at the moment. Therefore, this change from Riot Games does not have much significance in bringing the Warrior composition back to the meta. Players will likely continue to use the 3 Warrior threshold as a frontline at the start of the game instead of relying on the 6 champions.
Kled Gains an Additional 10% Attack Speed at 3 Stars
The Demon team in Season 5.5 has always been known for its hyper-roll playstyle and utilizing the power of 1-2 gold units at 3 stars. However, this composition has gradually been pushed into obscurity as ranged carry champions dealing wide area damage like Lucian, Aphelios, and Kayle dominate the meta. Therefore, the Demon team needs another option, an additional carry besides Tristana to snowball the game. Kled seems to be the chosen unit in patch 11.19, but Riot has given this unit too little power boost.

Specifically, at 3-star level, Kled’s additional attack speed when not riding Skraal increases from 100% to 110%. This 10% attack speed buff is only comparable to the effect of 2 Demons and does not significantly increase Kled’s damage output. It is thought that for Kled to truly become a worthwhile carry, Riot needs to increase the attack speed and skill damage of this unit at 3 stars. Otherwise, investing in Kled is not worth it at all.
Sett’s Skill Reduces an Additional 10 Armor
For units like Gragas, Sejuani, or Nunu & Willump, their main source of damage is magic damage. Therefore, pairing Sett with an armor reduction effect alongside other Brawlers does not provide much benefit to the composition. Thus, when Sett’s ability to reduce armor is buffed, it does not help the Brawler composition become stronger at all. Essentially, this effect only benefits Sett himself.

Furthermore, Sett himself has been nerfed in damage output from abilities in many previous patches. Therefore, the additional armor reduction of 10 at 3-star level cannot make this unit powerful enough to “one shot” opponents’ compositions like before. Not helping teammates of the same class or himself to deal additional damage, calling Sett’s buff in patch 11.19 “almost nothing” is not an exaggeration at all.
