Recently, in a rather surprising move, Team Secret announced the departure of 3 of their players, including the names: H3 – Artifact – Slayder. The announcement was posted on TS’s Fanpage early this morning.
The departures of both Artifact and Slayder can be described as extremely surprising to TS fans. “Beo” has been a key figure for this team since its days as FFQ, while Slayder has only played for TS for one season.
Regarding Slayder, his departure was foreshadowed by reports that he was removed from TS’s roster earlier this September. On the other hand, Artifact’s situation came completely without any warning signs.
Thus, with Artifact officially parting ways with TS, the roster that participated in the 2019 World Championship under Lowkey Esports, the stars who once achieved a historic victory against the LCK representative – DAMWON Gaming, now has only DNK left.
One more thing to note is that Team Secret’s mass departure of players seems to signal that the VCS Summer 2021 may not be held at the end of this year as promised by the organizers, because if they had specific plans for this tournament, the teams would certainly have to be informed, and there would be no reason for them to lose players if they were “prepared to compete”.
