T1’s championship win at the 2023 World Championship was a significant event for LCK fans. It’s important to note that in the semifinals, three LPL teams made it to the top, while T1 was the sole representative from LCK. If an LPL team had won the 2023 World Championship on home soil, it would have been an endless disappointment for LCK fans. Fortunately, T1 prevented that from happening.

Therefore, right after T1 clinched the championship, LCK fans were very interested in the champion skin line for Faker and his teammates. This skin line is a meaningful tribute to T1’s victory and will surely be loved by Korean gamers. In fact, just a few days after T1’s victory, the idea for the “Demon Legion” themed skin line was born.

A highlight of this skin line is the Lee Sin skin, as this character resembles someone from One Piece. Even Lee Sin’s outer coat is directly inspired by the outfits of the admirals in that series. Following that, the mentioned Renata Glasc skin transforms her from a “boss lady” into an incredibly beautiful demon.

However, despite the beautiful design and great concept (the demon legion of “Demon King” Faker), this skin line seems unlikely to become a reality. The reason is that Zeus recently confirmed he would choose Jayce instead of Yone for the champion skin. Meanwhile, Bard appears to be Keria’s choice, not Renata Glasc.

Furthermore, Riot has a longstanding tradition of not using “fan art” products to create skins, especially for world champion skins. Therefore, no matter how good the idea or outstanding the design, this skin line still seems unlikely to become a reality. This leaves T1 fans and the LCK audience with a sense of regret.

The T1 skin concept above shows that LCK fans are very interested in the skin line honoring the 2023 World Championship champions. Hopefully, Riot Games will create an outstanding product that matches T1’s impressive journey in the recent tournament.
