Recently, the League of Legends team T1 announced a blockbuster global partnership with luxury car manufacturer BMW to promote four new models from the X-Range (X2, X3, X5, X7).
In addition to T1, BMW also announced collaborations with four other League of Legends teams: Cloud9, Fnatic, G2 Esports, and FunPlus Phoenix. It’s easy to see the common thread among these five names, as they are all teams at the pinnacle of professional League of Legends with a massive fan following.
With the announcement of this promotional partnership with BMW, T1 currently holds four major advertising contracts (since rebranding) with some of the biggest brands in Korea and worldwide, including Nike, Logitech, BMW, and WorldConLotte (a Lotte ice cream brand featuring Faker as the spokesperson).
According to expert evaluations, these are all lucrative contracts that will bring significant profits as well as strong brand development potential for T1 and their partners.

Meanwhile, some fans with “just the means” have already started planning to treat themselves to a BMW adorned with the T1 logo. Besides the official press releases, both BMW and T1 have released a series of promotional images featuring the new car models, with the models being none other than the team members themselves.
