T1 Star Sets a Record Hard to Match
Currently, after a challenging start to the season, T1 has gradually regained form with consecutive victories. Even DK, who gave them a tough time early on, was swiftly defeated by T1 in just two games. These wins not only relieve psychological pressure but also strengthen T1’s position on the LCK 2026 Rounds 1-2 leaderboard. Furthermore, in the recent easy win over NS, Peyz added to his remarkable achievements with a pentakill.

With his pentakill against NS, Peyz now has a total of 13 pentakills throughout his career since debut—the highest in LoL history to date. Notably, pentakills are very difficult to achieve, even for players in roles often prioritized for kills like ADC or long-time legends like Faker. For context, Faker has only 2 pentakills in his illustrious career.

This achievement could also help Peyz regain the confidence needed for T1’s crucial upcoming phase. Since joining T1, the former JDG star has often faced questions as he hadn’t yet showcased his full potential. Thus, this pentakill at this moment might be “right player, right time,” especially with T1’s next match against Gen.G—a very strong opponent also on a long undefeated streak.

T1 is Back on Track
Since the Homeground matches, T1 has won all games across all fronts. This momentum is an excellent lead-up as T1 prepares to face Gen.G and then embark on the Road to MSI 2026, aiming to qualify for their first international tournament of 2026 with the new roster.
