The days without Faker have truly been challenging for T1. From being an almost undefeated team (only losing to the two currently strong teams, KT Rolster and Gen.G), T1 now needs at least 2 more wins to secure a playoff spot. Of course, the chances of T1 being eliminated are very low, but the current situation of this team is something even the anti-fans could not have imagined. No one expected that Faker’s absence would have such deep and serious consequences.
Recently, the frequency of Faker’s ranked games and Arena matches has increased. This is a sign that Faker is very close to making his return. This is good news for T1 after the gloomy days they have faced. Of course, Faker and T1 still need to be certain as there are not only the last 4 matches of the LCK Summer 2023 group stage ahead but also the World Championship and ASIAD. But anyway, the news of Faker’s imminent return has made T1 fans extremely excited.
Some fans have even imagined a scenario for Faker’s return. Specifically, Faker could start as a substitute while Poby continues to play in the first game.
