(Nation) - LPL fans are feeling optimistic after witnessing T1's continued defeats.

For many years, T1 has been regarded as the leading flagbearer of the LCK region, competing against teams from the LPL. Under Faker’s leadership, the current roster that T1 possesses consistently performs well in international tournaments. Perhaps because of this, LPL fans often feel quite anxious when they see T1 and their players on the big stages.

However, after T1’s defeat to OKSavingbank BRION (OK BRO), the concern among LPL fans has somewhat diminished. This is due to the fact that T1 members had a rather poor game with Faker continuing to be absent. Some even suggest that if T1 players maintain this form, both the ASIAD gold medal and the World Championship title this year will belong to the LPL region.

“The T1 players had a really poor match against OK BRO, leading to another defeat. At this rate, T1 won’t be a competitive team at Worlds 2023, even if Faker returns. Not to mention ASIAD, where the Korean lineup has too many T1 players. The LPL region has a great chance to win both of these important titles,” shared an LPL fan.

Indeed, when comparing current forms, the ASIAD lineup from the LPL region appears to be extremely superior. While Zeus and Oner from Korea are not performing well, Bin and Xun from the LPL are showing outstanding form. It should be noted that Bilibili Gaming’s record of 15 wins and 1 loss in the LPL Summer 2023 Group Stage owes much to this duo.

Therefore, it is understandable that LPL fans are feeling optimistic at this time. As for T1 supporters, they are likely looking forward to the day Faker returns more than ever. This not only strengthens T1 but also significantly boosts the competitiveness of the Korean League of Legends team.
