A Player’s Fandom Unexpectedly Appears in the Midst of the T1 – Zeus Drama
On the afternoon of December 18 (Vietnam time), the League of Legends community was once again “shaken” as the T1 – Zeus transfer drama resurfaced after nearly a month of seeming “dormancy”. According to representatives from Hanwha Life Esports, they have now confirmed that a deadline for negotiations with Zeus has been set. This statement completely contradicts T1’s CEO, Joe Marsh, who previously stated that T1 had not received any deadline notification.

However, while the LoL community is fiercely debating the new developments, a segment of the Vietnamese LoL fandom, seemingly unrelated to the situation, has spoken up, namely the fan club of Peanut – another member of HLE and a former player of T1.
Some of Peanut’s fandom in Vietnam unexpectedly took to social media, reigniting new rounds of controversy as these posts directed aggressive comments towards T1’s CEO. Some pages even challenged T1 fans or anyone criticizing HLE’s management and player Zeus.

The T1 – Zeus Drama Could Affect All Involved Parties
For T1, although they can be seen as “victims” in some aspects, whether HLE has notified T1’s CEO about a deadline remains unverified. However, it can be said that T1 will be the least attacked party in this incident.
As for HLE – Zeus and their representatives, the matter may not end here. The team and player have lost the support of a large portion of the LoL fanbase. Consequently, the pressure on Zeus and HLE, especially in matches against T1, will be significantly greater.

As for Peanut, in 2024, his fandom in Vietnam has shown “overzealous” behavior multiple times. This is something that shouldn’t happen and could affect “Little Peanut’s” image in the Vietnamese LoL community.
