Recently, the incident involving female streamer JisooGirl – a content creator under T1, publicly declaring her support for rival teams KT Rolster and DWG KIA during a live stream, has outraged many T1 fans and neutral observers alike.
The female streamer faced a barrage of criticism for her actions of “taking T1’s salary while cheering for another team.” Almost immediately, T1 responded by announcing a penalty for JisooGirl.
The penalty imposed is a 50% salary cut and a 10-day streaming ban. Accompanying this is a handwritten apology letter from the streamer addressed to the T1 fan community.

However, the penalty announcement from T1 did nothing to calm the heated fans; instead, it only drew more criticism toward the organization. Many pointed out that the match between T1 and DK took place on July 17, while the match against KT occurred on July 15, meaning JisooGirl’s inappropriate actions had been ongoing for several days prior.
Some T1 fans directly criticized her during the live stream (leading to JisooGirl retorting, “Why should I cheer for T1?”) but the organization had no reaction at all. It was only when reputable news outlets like FOMOS and NAVER reported on it that T1 decided to impose a penalty.

This demonstrates that T1’s content managers are entirely unconcerned with supervising their personnel, especially in the streaming sector. Currently, T1 boasts four “view-attracting” names: Wolf, LS, Tyler1, and JisooGirl. Regarding the other three, Wolf has also stirred some minor controversies by publicly criticizing former coach Daeny while he was still leading T1.
However, these are indeed valid opinions, so “the chubby one” received more support than opposition, even though, in principle, he shouldn’t publicly criticize a fellow organization member during a live broadcast. Incidents like JisooGirl’s only reinforce fans’ beliefs that T1 is indeed lax in tightening hiring standards as well as content management.
Compared to the time when it was known as SKT, the organization seemingly faced no scandals, but since rebranding to T1 and transitioning to a new management team, it has become nothing short of “the drama king” of the LCK.
