On August 11th, the first official LEGO store in Vietnam was officially opened at the Takashimaya shopping center (District 1, Ho Chi Minh City). This store is expected to become a new playground and shopping destination for Vietnamese people, especially for younger customers. At the same time, LEGO believes that this store will be a “flagship” that opens the door to a long-term, sustainable partnership between LEGO and Vietnam.

Not only aimed at showcasing the latest models or boosting sales, but at the LEGO store, children will be inspired to unleash their creativity and excitement, thanks to the interesting details embedded in every design corner – just like how LEGO has always kept everyone “engaged” for many years.

One of the highlights not to be missed throughout the opening event chain is the presence of a 3D version of the famous 1970s Ferrari supercar model, recreated vividly with colorful LEGO bricks to life size.

According to LEGO representatives, this special “supercar” model was created from 78,496 LEGO pieces, took 164 hours to design, and was assembled over 480 hours. With meticulous attention to detail, the LEGO Ferrari model promises to captivate children and nurture their passion for unlimited creativity with LEGO, just like many generations before.

Moreover, the LEGO store is also a haven for hardcore fans who love to collect exclusive sets available in Vietnam. During this occasion, two exclusive models at the store include a Pacman arcade game model and a lion knight castle. For those who may not know, these are exclusive models that are very popular among LEGO fans worldwide.

At the opening ceremony, Mr. Rohan Mathur, Marketing Director for Southeast Asia at the LEGO Group, emphasized the importance of the first official store: “Learning through play has always been one of LEGO’s core values. We develop creative products suitable for many user groups. When the products arrive at the store, this is where we create unique, engaging experience spaces that stimulate creativity.”

Sharing the same view as Mr. Rohan, Ms. Đặng Ngọc, General Director of Viet Tinh Anh, LEGO’s distributor in Vietnam, stated: “Viet Tinh Anh believes that the opening of the first official LEGO store at Takashimaya will mark an important milestone in our journey to bring joy and inspiration to Vietnamese consumers, especially children. The store not only focuses on product display but also prioritizes customer interaction and experience. In the coming time, Viet Tinh Anh and LEGO will organize many activities to create exciting playgrounds for those who love creativity.”

Located in a prime spot within the bustling Takashimaya shopping center, the LEGO store is the perfect choice for parents looking for a place where their children can immerse themselves in their own creative world and enjoy “unlimited play” in a healthy and intellectual manner.
To celebrate the opening of the first official LEGO store in Vietnam, customers visiting the store during this time will receive many attractive gifts, as well as discounts of up to 40% from August 11 to September 9. Additionally, every weekend, children will get to experience assembling models from LEGO bricks in the Ferrari area and take their creations home after completion.
