When talking about the miraculous championship of Team Flash at the VCS Spring 2020, many will surely be impressed by Stark’s surprising ascension to the official starting position for Yoshino in the Top Lane.

According to internal sources from Team Flash, the reason for this substitution was due to Yoshino’s health issues. However, regardless of the circumstances, Stark’s appearance brought many tactical changes to FL, and it would not be an exaggeration to say that this player made significant contributions to the team’s victory.

The first championship title since its establishment undoubtedly holds immense significance for Team Flash. However, for Stark himself, this milestone carries many layers of meaning, as the VCS Spring 2020 championship title has made him one of the most accomplished players in the history of professional League of Legends in Vietnam, with impressive statistics.

The championship that Team Flash achieved also allowed this team to become the sole representative of Vietnamese League of Legends at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI) 2020. For Stark, this marks his third MSI tournament participation.

Team Flash makes its debut at a major tournament, while for Stark, this is his third time at the MSI.

In total across international tournaments, League of Legends Vietnam currently boasts 8 players who have participated in major tournaments three times: Archie (2 Worlds, 1 MSI), Levi (2 Worlds, 1 MSI), Slay (1 Worlds, 2 MSI), Zeros (2 Worlds, 1 MSI), BigKoro – Palette – Naul (2 Worlds, 1 MSI), and Stark (3 MSI).

However, only Stark has participated in a single tournament (MSI) three times. Additionally, “Stark the Emperor” has joined the ranks of “title hunters,” achieving championship success with every team he has played for.

After the match, Stark also shared that although he had won the VCS twice before with GAM Esports and EVOS Esports, the championship he achieved with Team Flash was the most meaningful, as the teams he played for previously were too strong, and winning felt like a given. In contrast, Team Flash’s victory was the result of a persistent and resilient struggle as an underdog.
