SofM’s Return Could Be Good News for LCP
Recently, in response to the anticipation of the Vietnamese League of Legends community, SofM officially announced his return to the professional League of Legends scene as a player. This decision has certainly surprised VCS fans. This year, players around SofM’s age or just a year or two older have been retiring one after another. Notably, Levi has just announced his departure from the League of Legends scene after more than 10 years.

Almost simultaneously, the official fan page of MVKE also announced that SofM will still be joining this team. Currently, the AD role is the only one MVKE is missing since they have announced farewell to both Shogun and Sty1e earlier. Without discussing what role SofM will be taking, it is possible that the LCP could also “benefit” from SofM’s return to competition.

Specifically, currently, a series of LCP players have retired or moved to other regions, such as Levi, HongQ… This will surely have a significant impact on the appeal and quality of the tournament in the upcoming new season. Therefore, aside from the professional aspect, SofM’s return could enhance the attractiveness of both MVKE and the LCP to the audience.
Next, focusing purely on the professional aspect, SofM is a player who has built a reputation. Although SofM may not be at the peak of his form currently, he could still provide some assistance to MVKE. Moreover, this team needs an in-game leader, and no one is more suitable for that role than SofM.

Fans Still Need to See How SofM Performs
Of course, aside from external factors, SofM’s professional skills will be the main focus. But for now, VCS fans will once again witness SofM in the professional arena. The only difference is that there are no longer players like Levi, BeanJ, EGO, or Meliodas to provide fans with exciting matchups between the best jungle players that Vietnamese League of Legends has ever produced.
