The Legend of SKT T1 Returns but Becomes Faker’s Rival
As we know, the LCK is currently in the transfer period and off-season for teams and players. Many changes are awaiting League of Legends in Korea, and according to circulating information, it seems that only T1 has not made any changes. However, the first “transfer bomb” has exploded, as Dplus KIA announced the coaching staff for the new season. Shockingly, this includes the duo Bengi – PoohManDu, legends of SKT T1 in the past. The other member is Hachani.

Notably, while PoohManDu has occasionally appeared over time, Bengi has been almost “missing” since LCK Summer 2023. He only made one public appearance since then when he was spotted at Bang’s wedding. Other than that, no one knows what Bengi has been doing or where he has been during this time.

Promising Exciting Matchups as Faker and T1 Face DK
With two former close teammates and mentors of Faker joining the rival team, the matches between DK – T1 next season could be very exciting. Bengi was also the head coach of T1 from Spring 2022, leading this team to establish one of the longest unbeaten streaks in League of Legends history (until it was broken by Gen.G). Additionally, Bengi led T1 to two runner-up finishes at MSI 2022 and Worlds 2022.

It can be said that the 2025 LCK season has begun to heat up, but it comes from a name that few expected, which is Bengi.
