On the evening of January 31 (Vietnam time), the first complete images of the new champion Renata appeared, including splash art of her default skin and splash art of the first skin she is likely to have right after her release. Additionally, the skill set of the new champion Renata was also leaked on social media, although it has not been officially confirmed by Riot.

First, here is the image of the new champion Renata’s skin. She appears as a half-human, half-machine figure. Renata’s default skin resembles that of ancient European nobles, with an intricately designed gun tucked at her hip. It is possible that when this champion officially debuts in League of Legends, she will use this gun as her weapon. In the leaked first skin of Renata, she is depicted as a very “cool” military commander.

Additionally, the (unconfirmed) skill set of Renata has also been revealed. Renata will possess a skill set focused on heavily controlling opponents and buffing allies. The passive of this champion, according to leaked information, will mark enemies, and when allies trigger the mark, they can deal damage. Renata’s Q skill will apply a control effect when attacking, allowing her to manipulate opponents for a few seconds. Renata’s W skill will also revive allies within 3 seconds. The E skill will create two different control effects, while Renata’s ultimate will create a wide-area taunt effect, where opponents receive attack speed but are forced to attack the target right in front of them (including their own allies, monsters, enemies, and Renata). If there are no enemies around, those affected by Renata’s R skill can even attack the terrain in front of them.

Of course, these images and skill sets are still in “leak” form, meaning they have not been officially confirmed by Riot. Nevertheless, the new champion Renata is already generating considerable excitement within the community. Some have even admitted that Riot should create champions that are truly warriors like this rather than those like Seraphine.

It is likely that in a few days, Riot will provide more information about this new champion. If so, it is very possible that Renata will appear in both League of Legends and Teamfight Tactics simultaneously, rather than debuting in Riot’s popular game mode and then appearing in Summoner’s Rift as initially speculated.
