Recently, the YouTube channel MOMO DATA has compiled a list of the top 15 players with the most kills in LCK over the years, from 2012 to 2020. As of April 29, 2020, the Top 15 includes:
– Faker with 2,096 kills.
– Pray with 1,706 kills.
– Bang with 1,575 kills.
– kurO with 1,552 kills.
– Score with 1,504 kills.
– Deft with 1,389 kills.
– Smeb with 1,291 kills.
– Sangyoon with 1,191 kills.
– Teddy with 1,118 kills.
– Ruler with 1,063 kills.
– BDD with 1,021 kills.
– Ambition with 1,013 kills.
– Arrow with 983 kills.
– CuVee with 891 kills.
– Peanut with 818 kills.
Here are some notes from the ranking:
– Faker is the player with the most kills in LCK for 5 consecutive years, starting from the 2015 Summer LCK until now, throughout 19 seasons and has won 9 of those.
– Bang is the case that fans regret the most because if he were still playing in LCK, he would likely have reached the 2,000 kill milestone along with Faker.
– There are quite a few legendary names from the early days like Piglet, Ggoong, Dade, Coco… If you are a new player in League of Legends, you might want to look them up on YouTube.
– Faker was the first player to reach the milestones of 1,000 and 2,000 kills. During the 2016 season, Faker was closely followed by Pray, with the gap sometimes being only a few dozen kills.

Currently, Pray has retired, former T1 ADC – Bang has moved to the LCS, Kuro is no longer at his peak, and Score is currently fulfilling his military obligations, so the League of Legends community believes it will be very difficult for anyone to surpass Faker’s achievements unless he stops playing.

For those who may not know, on February 18, the esports organization T1 officially announced that Captain of Team T1 – Lee “Faker” Sang-hyeok has signed a contract extension with the team. The new contract will last until 2024, before this player participates in mandatory military service in South Korea. It appears that until then, Faker’s reign at the top of the LCK rankings will continue.

Yesterday, the official LoL Esports website also announced that the 2020 Mid Season Cup: LCK vs LPL, or the China-Korea Grand Battle, will start on May 28 with the participation of the top 4 teams from the 2020 Spring LCK and LPL. Unlike the somewhat “pointless” Rift Rivals tournament, the Mid Season Cup will be a battleground for teams to truly compete and prove who is the strongest of both the China and Korea regions.
The 4 teams representing LCK are: T1 (champions of Spring LCK 2020), Gen.G, DragonX, Damwon Gaming.
The 4 teams representing LPL are: JD Gaming (champions of Spring LPL 2020), Top Esports, Funplus Phoenix, Invictus Gaming.
