Early this morning, T1 unexpectedly made a shocking announcement to the entire League of Legends community worldwide, officially announcing the termination of contracts with coaches Daeny and Zefa in the middle of the season.

T1 has terminated the contracts of Coach Daeny and Coach Zefa after a careful internal observation and evaluation over the past few months. We have decided to implement this change at this time to strive to recreate the opportunity for our team’s success with 8 matches remaining.

Along with this, the team also announced that assistant coaches “Stardust” and “Moment” will take on the roles of the team’s coaches until the end of the summer split, while the youth team coach – Bengi will not be registered.
Daeny and Zefa previously helped DWG KIA clinch the championship title at the 2021 World Championship, and Coach Zefa also had a period as part of the coaching staff of SKT during 2019. However, since arriving at T1 in early 2021, all that this coaching duo has left, especially Daeny, has been negative information.
T1 has still not been able to improve their performance and position on the leaderboard, while Daeny has continuously caused dissatisfaction among the players. During the spring split, this coach made both the stars and fans of T1 extremely frustrated with his constant lineup changes.
