While VCS is on a break waiting for the 2022 Spring Season to kick off, transfer news from the teams is what the Vietnamese League of Legends community is most concerned about. In this context, SBTC Esports, led by the famous streamer Teacher Ba, is standing out prominently. The “circus of VCS” has parted ways with a series of 4 players from the main lineup and is in the process of building a completely new team.

And in just 2 days, SE confirmed the transfer rumors that had been circulating with 4 names: DNK, Spot, 2T, and Simon. DNK and Simon are members of Team Secret, while 2T is a former player from SE’s “arch-rival” – GAM Esports. Only Spot is a player recruited from a VCS B team, but he is also a familiar name to Vietnamese LoL fans as he was once seen as a “black sheep”, disrupting the internal affairs of GAM while wearing that team’s jersey.

However, contrary to Teacher Ba’s hopes, SE fans have taken to “mocking” the new names harshly. Some even suggested that Simon joined SE to “wipe keyboards” and that the team would surely be in the lower half of the standings next season.

These comments, which are half-joking and half-serious, can shake the morale of the players and have made Teacher Ba quite upset. The streamer immediately responded, even going so far as to use vulgar language.

Clearly, a portion of netizens has been using what initially seemed like playful jokes to intentionally “mock” the players. As Teacher Ba himself stated, what matters is that the players strive every day. Not to mention, how players are lined up for competition also depends on the playstyle the team builds and who their opponents are.
Teasing fans or even players to ease the tension is characteristic of Teacher Ba whenever he interacts with fans or the SE team. However, even this famous easygoing streamer has to be upset, indicating that the jokes from some fans have truly gone too far.
