In the midst of the indefinite postponement of the VCS Summer 2021 due to the pandemic, SBTC Esports continues to play the role of the “atmosphere stirrer” by unexpectedly announcing the introduction of a new figure at 8 PM tonight, July 20.
However, when the hour struck, SE fans were taken aback as these new contracts turned out to be… familiar faces, only now bestowed with the new titles as “financial experts”. These “experts” include “The Abyssal Analysis Monster” BaRoiBeo, “The Candle Flicker Specialist” Celebrity, and “The Matrix Overlord” Violet.
Nevertheless, even if this post carries a “comedic” tone, SBTC Esports still leaves fans feeling “uneasy”. BaRoiBeo (Teacher Ba) and Violet have already been part of the SBTC Esports coaching staff since the spring season, but Celebrity’s presence alongside these two veterans, introduced as a “top analysis expert”, raises significant questions.
Some fans have speculated that the “international marksman” of SE may bid farewell to the professional arena this season and join the SE coaching staff as an Analyst. Celebrity has also been rumored more than once to have intentions of retiring, despite his “carrying the team” capability being something SE desperately needs right now.
Currently, in SE’s lineup, there is still no other marksman apart from Celebrity, but it is highly likely that Teacher Ba has finalized a contract with EasyLove after this player left GAM Esports. This further reinforces many fans’ belief in the theory that Celebrity will retire in the near future.
