Bin points out the match that haunts him the most against T1 at Worlds 2024
In a player’s career, reaching the finals of a World Championship is no easy feat. Some players have competed for nearly a decade but have yet to experience the taste of a final match. However, there are players who have come close to the “heaven” threshold multiple times only to falter again. Bin from BLG is one of them, and the match against T1 at last year’s Worlds continues to “haunt” this player.
Worlds 2024 is the moment Bin approaches the championship title closer than ever since the start of his career.
Accordingly, in a segment discussing his journey at Worlds 2024, based on a documentary produced by Bilibili, Bin admitted: “I remember that during game 4, I felt we had a lot of advantages and were about to win. The Summoner’s Rift trophy was so close. And then I woke up, like being jolted out of a dream. I saw Sylas in mid, taking down my teammates. Then I had to ask myself: ‘Isn’t it my turn yet?’. That really haunted my mind for a long time.”
Bin shares about the moment he realized he still couldn’t become a Worlds champion.
Bin has a chance to take revenge on T1 at this year’s Worlds
For now, T1 has qualified for Worlds 2025 and their opponent is IG. If there are no unexpected events or earthquakes, the likelihood of T1 advancing is very high. As they enter the Swiss round, with T1 being in Group 1, the possibility of BLG facing T1 early on is entirely possible. Then, if both teams advance further, a “rematch” is also feasible, and Bin has a real chance to “take revenge” on T1.

However, Bin’s BLG also needs to exercise maximum caution. T1 at Worlds has never been an easy opponent to deal with. Moreover, this year the LCK is not just about T1 but also includes Gen.G, who are exceptionally well-rounded, as well as HLE, who are ready to make LPL teams “suffer”. These are also direct competitors for BLG on their path to the championship title at Worlds 2025.
