Since her launch, Renata Glasc has proven to be a powerful Support champion capable of creating significant shifts in team fights. Essentially, Renata Glasc can assist her teammates in numerous ways, from increasing damage and controlling opponents to resurrecting allies if they participate in takedowns. Not to mention, her ultimate ability causes opponents to “clean house,” providing a great opportunity for her team to secure victory in skirmishes.

However, like every newly launched champion in League of Legends, Renata Glasc also has her fair share of bugs, and her ultimate is no exception. In fact, according to the latest discovery from the “bug saint” Vandiril, Renata Glasc can buff her opponents with damage equivalent to hundreds of AP, as long as they are taken down while affected by her ultimate ability, Chem-Barrage.
As we see in the video above, when Karthus is hit by Renata’s ultimate, Chem-Barrage, and is taken down, this champion’s E ability suddenly deals additional hundreds of damage to allies. This increased damage can translate to 100-200 AP, even though it doesn’t show up on Karthus’s stat board.
There are two absurdities in this interaction. First, Karthus can deal damage to allies despite being taken down. This is extremely unreasonable as Karthus’s description does not mention this at all. Could it be that when hit by Renata’s ultimate, the soul is counted as an enemy champion? However, this is still unreasonable because, as shown in the video above, Karthus still deals damage to Renata Glasc after dying.

The second absurdity is that Renata Glasc can buff her opponents with too much damage, while the abilities of the Zaun Baroness do not mention this. This is truly an interaction that is hard to accept, so we hope Riot Games will find a way to fix it soon.
