Not long ago, Riot released a series of trailers for the Hall of Legends event with Faker being the first player to receive this honor. Following that, there was a lot of information circulating about Faker’s HoL, including that Ahri and LeBlanc would be the chosen champions. Ahri’s skin, as known, will have 3 transformation forms and even had been speculated to possibly include a Legendary form. Recently, according to many disclosed details, the HoL event allowing players to obtain Faker’s skin will be released in the form of a Pass, and players will have to reach level 100+ to unlock all features.

Recently, on the evening of May 28 (Vietnam time), the next trailer featuring the official in-game images of HoL was announced. Accordingly, Ahri’s skin will be the visual representation of the HoL line dedicated to Faker. Not only will there be skins but also a series of emojis and an item that seems to be a special visual effect for Faker will be included in the “Demon King” HoL Pass. If this is indeed a visual effect, it will make Faker the first player in the League of Legends scene to have a unique visual effect. Previously, only coach KkOma was the only real person in the League of Legends scene to have a unique visual effect.

In addition, each champion Ahri and LeBlanc will have their own emojis depicting Faker’s signature moves, such as the “Silent” sign. Notably, if using this skin and destroying a tower, right below the destroyed turret, Faker’s signature will appear. Additionally, Ahri’s Recall effect will showcase the trophies Faker has won throughout his career, while Ahri will recreate the moment when Faker kissed the 2016 Worlds trophy – the time when he and SKT T1 became the first and only team to defend this title.

Witnessing the majestic yet nostalgic images recreated in the HoL skin line in-game, the League of Legends community cannot help but feel moved. Many gamers assert that they are willing to “bleed” for the high level. The cost of the Pass to reach the full 100 levels (including everything in the Pass package) will be around 60k RP, equivalent to about 6 million VND – a challenging figure for Vietnamese gamers but also incredibly appealing with the benefits it brings.

However, if gamers do not want to spend such a large amount, they can simply purchase the basic Ahri HoL skin and wait for Riot to release accompanying events to start grinding. Of course, this will save costs but will require a time commitment. Nevertheless, players may still not receive the final signature skin in this HoL Pass if they only grind without purchasing.
Currently, Faker’s HoL skin is only available in the PBE and is expected to officially launch around June 2024. Therefore, it might be wise for gamers to start preparing their “wallets” now as this skin line promises to be one of the biggest hits of 2024.
