Riot Continues to Leave League of Legends Fans, Especially the VCS Community, “Helpless”
What was expected to be the highlight match between GAM Esports and CBTC Flying Oyster turned out to be completely the opposite. Instead of thrilling clashes, the VCS audience and the entire APAC region are at risk of… “dozing off”. All because of a severe bug that has caused game 1 of the match to be delayed indefinitely, and even after nearly an hour, Riot has yet to resolve the issue.

Specifically, during the match, the champion K’Sante, played by player Rest, suddenly encountered an action animation bug. Instead of attacking opponents, this champion just twitched and acted as if it was “frozen”. This was no different from the action of “auto-attacking” from Rest’s K’Sante. Notably, this is one of the most crucial champions in CFO’s team fights.

Riot Even Had to Let the Match Continue to “Free” Both Players and the VCS Audience
At this point, the GAM match was already too late, and subsequently, Riot had to let the match continue even though K’Sante’s basic attack bug was still unresolved. This is truly an “unbearable” situation in League of Legends history. Because, it seems, there has never been a match that had bugs yet both teams could continue to play.

Additionally, according to various reports, this is an unresolvable bug. This further leaves the audience truly “helpless”. League of Legends has continuously faced severe bugs, and this time, the game’s bug directly impacted the match, leaving the teams no choice but to… laugh it off and move on.
