Recently, Riot officially launched the Hall of Legends skin line – a special collection of skins dedicated to the legends who have contributed to making League of Legends as powerful as it is today. And of course, from the moment Riot announced the project, the community was almost certain that Faker would be the first to be featured. He is the G.O.A.T of the League of Legends scene and the most influential player in the game overall, with that influence extending across the entire Esports landscape and even into the entertainment industry in South Korea. The question is: after Faker, who will be next?

Recently, during a stream, Uzi was shown by someone who just bought Faker’s HoL. Notably, the legendary former AD carry of the LPL immediately posed a suggestive question: “So aren’t you going to ask when my HoL skin will be released?” Uzi’s statement clearly carries a certain implication. And immediately, this information has attracted the attention of the League of Legends community.

In terms of influence, Uzi’s impact on the LPL is by no means lesser than Faker‘s on the LCK. During his playing days, Uzi was always a source of pride for the Chinese League of Legends whenever competing internationally. In his career, the most regretful thing for Uzi is perhaps that he has yet to win a World Championship title. Notably, Faker’s first World Championship title was when SKT T1 defeated Uzi’s Royal Club in the finals. However, unlike Faker, Uzi’s career has not been a continuous one, as there were times he had to take breaks due to injuries.

In reality, it will be difficult to predict exactly when Uzi’s skin will be launched (if it happens). Moreover, Uzi’s influence is mostly confined to the LPL region. Therefore, if Riot plans to apply Uzi’s collection in the future, the most important consideration will be pricing. Because League of Legends players outside the LPL will find it hard to accept a skin priced similarly to Faker’s while that player has not yet made a convincing impact like the “Demon King”.
