Lotus Chat – A Convenient Chat Application
On October 18th, VCCorp officially launched the chat application named Lotus Chat. Lotus Chat was announced and officially available on operating systems such as Android, iOS, and also on computers.
The first impression of Lotus Chat is its user-friendly interface. For those who are accustomed to using some pure chat applications (not integrated into social networks), it will not be difficult to get used to Lotus Chat. The interface on both mobile and PC is easy to use and, of course, is 100% in Vietnamese.
The first advantage of Lotus Chat is that it helps users enhance their focus when using the application thanks to prominent push notifications on both mobile and PC. Additionally, when users log in on multiple devices, messages are synchronized quickly and completely. This prevents users from losing important data or information.
The Convo feature of Lotus Chat works smoothly on both mobile and PC, and even when users turn off notifications for conversations, the application still displays the number of unread messages for users to check when needed. Moreover, multimedia files sent to Lotus Chat are also uploaded quite quickly with high quality.
Lotus Chat saves files on the cloud rather than just storing them on the device like some other chat apps. Therefore, when changing devices or losing a device, files are not lost, and there is no need to perform manual synchronization because the app automatically syncs files and photos immediately upon login.
For users who integrated the OTP code feature from Lotus Chat, the response speed within a few seconds is another advantage of this VCCorp application.
The biggest difference of Lotus Chat is the virtual assistant Lota. To activate this feature, users just need to type the keyword “Lota” in the search bar. This is a virtual assistant that reminds users of important dates, special occasions, or prominent events throughout the year.
Lotus Chat Promises Further Development
However, Lotus Chat still has some areas that need improvement in the future. Firstly, there is the phenomenon where new messages update on smartphones a little slower than on PCs and vice versa. This is not a frequent occurrence, but it has happened.
Additionally, Lotus Chat needs to diversify the operations for handling conversations. For example, users may want to delete a group chat but do not intend to leave the group. However, Lotus Chat only provides options to Leave Group or Ignore, which can cause certain inconveniences.
Nevertheless, Lotus Chat has great potential for further development in the future. Of course, it remains to be seen how time will answer that. But at this moment, Lotus Chat has successfully completed its launch phase to the community of users across Vietnam.
