Season 3 is considered a true revolution for Teamfight Tactics as most old traits and classes have been revamped with effects that are completely different from previous versions. Moreover, factors such as each match being a new universe, along with detailed visual effects and skills, make the “auto-chess” of Season 3 much more vibrant.
However, this is still an imperfect product from Riot Games. Besides the fact that it is still in the testing phase, the most obvious downgrade in Season 3 is the store interface. Usually, the character images in the store are taken from the backgrounds in League of Legends, creating a sense of familiarity for players. However, Riot Games has brought the exact store interface from the mobile version that is still in testing into Season 3, and it truly looks like it was made 10 years ago.
A special thing about Teamfight Tactics: Galaxy Unbound is that when it officially launches, it is also synchronized with the mobile version. Perhaps this is the reason why the Season 3 store interface looks so bad, as it was designed for the mobile version. Still, that interface is just too ugly, so when the lead designer of Teamfight Tactics – Riot Mortdog, asked the community about the new version, up to 99% of comments complained about the store interface.
