Throughout the journey since the launch of League of Legends and its growth into one of the most famous Esports titles in the world, Riot has made numerous decisions or policies that have been widely criticized. Of course, whether positive or negative, it is the players who bear the consequences (or repercussions) of Riot’s changes or decisions for their beloved game. There is still a lot of opposition directed at Riot, but after all, the community has to play LoL and has gradually become accustomed to the negative impacts from this publisher on their prestigious title.

Recently, a player used AI to perform actions that this individual described as opposing the policies of Riot. Specifically, this person used AI to control champions, continuously pressed keys from F1-F5 (often the emote keys) and moved back and forth to avoid being penalized for AFK. However, this individual did not take any actions to help teammates. Occasionally, in the in-game chat as well as on the stream channel, messages like “AI FEEDA LoL TROLLING” or “Riot bad, dodge or lose” appeared.

However, what annoys other players is that this individual used ranked matches to carry out these actions. In fact, according to some players who observed, this person did not show their face, and the chatbots in their stream were only automated responses. Famous streamer Tyler1 had a chance to confront this individual and concluded that it is very likely that everything from start to finish was run by automated programs and only needed someone knowledgeable about technology and with money to operate it.

According to player evaluations, the actions above are simply disruptive and have no purpose of opposing Riot at all. Because this individual uses AI to wreak havoc in ranked matches, the ones affected are the players. They cannot escape, and the AI does not care to leave the game. As a result, normal players are stuck in the match and must accept a loss from the very start of the game.

There are many ways to oppose Riot or voice opinions about the publisher’s policies. However, many players choose the worst methods, causing other players to suffer the consequences while Riot remains indifferent.
