Peanut is currently the worst performing jungler among the top 4
In the 2025 Regular Seasons, Hanwha Life Esports is one of two teams with a lengthy unbeaten streak (alongside Gen.G) and only recently got “shut down” by KT Rolster in week 7. At first glance, these stats look impressive, and HLE continues to show good form that has been maintained since the 2025 LCK Cup. However, upon closer examination of Peanut’s jungle position, he is arguably the weakest player among the current top 4 LCK junglers, which include Peanut, Oner, Canyon, and Cuzz.

According to statistics after the conclusion of week 7, Peanut ranks last or out of the top in almost all important metrics for a player. Specifically, Peanut’s damage output, minion score, and KDA are all quite low. Additionally, his gold and experience in the first 10 minutes of the game rank him 10th – dead last among all players in the current LCK, not just the top 4.
Moreover, Peanut and Oner are the only two players among the aforementioned 4 who have yet to secure any major objectives. Cuzz has the highest number of steals with 4, while Canyon has 3.

One could argue that Peanut is often playing tanky champions, who require fewer resources to funnel into the three carries of the team: Zeus, Zeka, and Viper. However, it should be noted that HLE cannot always effectively execute this playstyle when their jungle is not at its best. A prime example is game 1 of the recent match against Gen.G, where Peanut was completely “absent”. Game 2 was almost the same, and it wasn’t until Canyon made continuous mistakes that HLE found their victory.

HLE’s MSI Spot is Not Guaranteed
While HLE is currently rated higher than T1 or any other opponents except Gen.G based on their performance, it is clear that this does not guarantee them a spot at MSI 2025 if they continue to perform like this.
In the current meta, the jungle position is incredibly important and will have a significant impact. If Peanut does not quickly regain his top form, HLE may struggle to compete with their opponents, with the primary goal being a spot at the upcoming MSI.
