Smash Unexpectedly “Vars” Former Senior at T1 – Keria
During the 2025 LCK Cup last year and the first few matches of the 2025 Regular Season, Smash played alongside Keria. Although this period can be described as quite unstable for T1, the team still secured some notable victories. However, Smash’s impact in those wins was not particularly outstanding, while Keria had a greater influence. Recently, for reasons unknown, Smash brought this up again, sparking new controversies.
Specifically, right on his stream, Smash made some “half-joking, half-serious” comments about Keria being awarded POM during their time as a duo in the Bot Lane at T1: “At that time, I was playing Kai’Sa carrying the team but ended up having my POM stolen by Min-seok (Keria).”
For those who may have forgotten, this refers to Smash’s performance in the match against KT on April 10, 2025. T1 won that match with a score of 2-0, but it was also the last match in Smash’s “honeymoon” period with T1. Soon after, T1 was crushed by HLE with the same score of 0-2, before Smash was “traumatized” by Diable in the following match against BNK, to the extent that Gumayusi had to be subbed in during the third game when Smash showed signs of complete collapse.
Smash’s seemingly “harmless” action has upset T1 fans
Smash’s comments, coupled with the use of the word “stolen,” have truly enraged T1 fans and Keria’s own supporters. In fact, according to many opinions, Smash’s good performance was due to the entire team creating opportunities and at that time, Keria’s form was at its peak. Therefore, it is understandable that Keria was awarded POM.
