As we know, recently, former Team Flash captain – Trần “Optimus” Văn Cường has announced plans to return to the professional League of Legends arena by establishing the OverPower Esports (OP) team.
Recently, he posted information recruiting positions for Players, Coaches, and Analysts for the new team.

Most recently, the official fanpage of OverPower Esports has also been officially launched, and this can be seen as a milestone marking the formation of this team on the professional League of Legends map in Vietnam.
The first post on this fanpage generally did not provide much information for fans, but it seems that its content also hints at Optimus returning as a player and leader in the OverPower lineup.

In addition, details such as the competition uniform and the official logo of the team have also been revealed through the fanpage and the official website opg.gg.

With just a very short caption accompanying the image of Optimus, the post from the OverPower Esports fanpage received up to 6200 likes, over 700 comments, and nearly 900 shares. These numbers can be seen as proof of Optimus’ strong appeal to the League of Legends community in Vietnam.
Whether you love or hate this guy, everyone cannot deny the fact that Optimus is truly a rare “genius” in the professional League of Legends scene, and just like his predecessor QTV, a VCS without Optimus will leave a significant void in the hearts of fans.

Currently, the official roster of OverPower Esports remains a mystery, but it is highly likely that Optimus’ teammates will be young talents from the VCSB tournament system as well as well-known players in the ranked ladder of the Vietnam League of Legends server.
With the current development pace, OverPower Esports is likely to officially debut in May 2020 and kick off its journey from the promotion qualifiers of the VCS Spring 2021 tournament, aiming for a spot in next year’s VCS Spring tournament.
