With the help of Coach Archie, CERBERUS Esports (CES) transformed from a relegation team to a top contender in the VCS. After 2 years (4 seasons of VCS) with the team, CES’s official Facebook page recently announced the departure of Coach Archie:

Coach Trần “Archie” Minh Nhựt is leaving the CERBERUS team.”
Coach Archie has been with and led the team for 4 seasons of VCS. CERBERUS thanks him for his contributions and achievements in coaching throughout this journey. We wish him good health and success on his new path.”

With this unexpected departure, many VCS fans speculate that the new coach of Team Secret next season will not be Optimus but rather Archie, while Optimus will become the coach of CES in the VCS Summer 2021. If this rumor is true, it seems that the ambition of “Ẩn Mật Giáo” this summer is to compete for the crown with GAM Esports, or at least secure a ticket to the 2021 World Championship.
Turning back to “Quái Khuyển”, this team, despite making it to the VCS Spring 2021 Playoffs, cannot truly be considered a success. In recent seasons, CES has remained stagnant, never rising to the top 1 or top 2 to be seen as a real contender for World Championship spots. If they cannot find a suitable coach after Archie leaves, CES’s position in the VCS standings may be jeopardized in the upcoming season.
