Following the Galaxy event, it’s highly likely that the Ultimate Weapon is the next event for League of Legends. First, we have learned more about the themed skins for this event as Riot Games has released them on the PBE server with 4 representatives: Lucian, Pantheon, Fiora, and Ekko. Moreover, with the descriptions of all 4 skins updated, it’s highly probable this will be a battle between the Time Police (Lucian and Pantheon) and those who are outlaws or oppose this organization (Fiora and Ekko).
Not only are there skins, but there will also be a special game mode. A few days ago, Riot GlMarsi, a member of the game mode design team, confirmed that URF champion selection has returned to the PBE server. Of course, at a time when everything is preparing for the upcoming event, everyone understands that URF will be the game mode for this major event.
Not only is there the Ultimate Weapon skin line, but in a previous development video, we could see that they also teased the Bard Astronaut skin, which is part of the design campaign for champions that are not very popular and haven’t had a “new outfit” in a long time. Logically, a crew rarely has just one member, so it’s quite understandable that there will be 2-3 more Astronaut skins released at the same time.
The question arises: which champion will have the next Astronaut skin? And it’s not a Riot employee but a player who has delved into the PBE server code and discovered that 2 more members will accompany Bard. In fact, we also learned that Teemo and Nautilus, two champions who previously had Astronaut skins, will receive additional Chrono skins.
With the lead event designer – Riot Xenogenic – previously confirming that the Bard Astronaut emote will be the reward for the event ticket, we can trust that the Astronaut skin line will appear in the upcoming patch or around the time the next event takes place. Perhaps Riot wants their event to carry a futuristic cosmic theme as much as possible by introducing two high-tech skin lines: Ultimate Weapon and Astronaut, for sale in the upcoming event.
