Recently, according to an official announcement from the leading Korean League of Legends organization T1, their captain – Faker has donated 30 million won – equivalent to about 579 million VND, to health organizations in Korea, with the aim of supporting the campaign against the spreading disease in this country.
The team is currently the reigning champion of the LCK tournament and has also announced that the players will donate all the money received from donations during streams in the next week to help the community and the Korean government prevent the spread of the pandemic.

It is known that the 30 million won mentioned above was sent by Faker to the relevant organizations 5 days ago, at the time of the final matches of the LCK. He did not make any announcement regarding his donation until T1 launched a support campaign through the donation income from the players’ streams, at which point Faker – the representative face of the team publicly revealed his noble gesture, with the aim of calling on the fan community to join hands against the spread of the disease in Korea.
The 30 million won is entirely from Faker’s personal assets, and he donated directly to the healthcare organizations in need of support, without requiring any promotional image. After being announced by T1, Faker’s action immediately received enthusiastic support and praise from the League of Legends community both in Korea and internationally.

Not only Faker, but many gamers and League of Legends organizations in Korea are also taking supportive actions for the community in the fight against the pandemic. At the same time, Ruler – the captain of Gen.G Esports has donated 10 million won, while both Gen.G and DragonX sent representatives to announce their support for the disease prevention campaign.
