Introduced in a rather “loud” manner with a horror theme and promising to evoke a chilling atmosphere in the Summoner’s Rift, Fiddlesticks’ appeal seems to be waning after its release on the official servers.
The thing is, the win rate of this champion since its launch has been too low, making it unable to haunt players anymore, as it ultimately just becomes a “weak straw man”.

However, to be fair, the design and interactions of the revamped Fiddlesticks are still a significant achievement by Riot Games. And despite being overlooked in the Summoner’s Rift, Fiddlesticks still has a large fanbase, and with that, incredibly unique fan art has been created.
Among them, the fanmade skin Black Mist Fiddlesticks stands out – a meticulously crafted piece that combines the theme of “fear” from this scarecrow’s default lore with the terrifying destructive power of the Black Mist skin universe.

The ultimate ability effects of Black Mist Fiddlesticks are designed with incredible detail and impact. The Crowstorm transforms into a cosmic explosion around the Black Mist core, obliterating every planet within Fiddlesticks’ vicinity.

Among the champions with Black Mist skins, there are many names with relatively “haunting” lore and designs such as Varus, Thresh, Shaco, Cho’Gath. Therefore, there’s no reason why a quintessential horror “icon” like Fiddlesticks should not have a similar skin.
This is clearly a highly promising idea for Riot Games to consider in expanding the Black Mist skin universe.
