A few days ago, important information about new champions in League of Legends was revealed. According to YouTuber Big Bad Bear, the upcoming Mage champion in League of Legends will be an artist from Ionia. Therefore, this character’s skill set will heavily involve ink, brushes, and drawing abilities.
Riot Games’ initial idea was that this champion could “draw” their skills. However, this seems too difficult to implement, so it has been changed to “drawing” the direction of skills. It is possible that Riot will use a mechanic similar to what they are applying to Rumble’s ultimate and Viktor’s E ability for this character.
Additionally, YouTuber Big Bad Bear revealed that an important part of the new character’s skill set will be their ultimate ability. This skill allows the new champion to “draw” terrain on the map. Currently, leaked images only reveal that this character can draw square or circular terrain.
Not stopping there, League of Legends players have also discovered that an artist at Riot has created a character resembling the above description. Specifically, the lead illustrator at Riot – Kan Liu, has posted images of a female artist using a brush to battle. It is likely that this will be the image of the new Mage champion in League of Legends.
