Alongside the exciting developments of MSI 2022, the champion development roadmap of League of Legends has also attracted a lot of attention from gamers. Yesterday – May 18, Riot unexpectedly released two videos related to the new champion Bel’Veth, titled The Void Queen. Both videos are currently set to private, and Riot plans to release these teasers on May 20.

Not stopping there, the Skinspotlight channel also discovered some very notable voice lines of Bel’Veth on the PBE server, which may reveal a bit about this champion’s abilities. Specifically, these voice lines indicate that Bel’Veth is aware of the father-son relationship between Kassadin and Kai’Sa and reveals that the Watchers are actually the true enemies of the world. Additionally, there are some voice lines related to Vel’Koz and Malzahar as well.

However, the noteworthy point here is that these voice lines appear when Bel’Veth gets a kill, is eliminated, or resurrects while in the form of a certain champion. This means that in Bel’Veth’s skill set, this champion has the ability to transform or possess the body of enemy or ally champions. Moreover, the transformation time will be much longer than that of existing champions since Bel’Veth has voice lines when resurrecting in the form of other champions.

This is a much stronger ability than Viego’s “body possession” or Sylas’s ultimate copying. It is not excluded that Bel’Veth can comfortably transform into enemy or ally champions and can use their skills for a very long time. Additionally, the fact that Kai’Sa’s background has changed to being possessed by Bel’Veth further reinforces the feasibility of this idea.

With the above information, the hype surrounding The Void Queen has only grown larger as this champion not only has immense power but also significantly impacts the storyline. Hopefully, Riot Games will not disappoint gamers and turn Bel’Veth into a successful champion rather than a “big head, mouse tail” like the events surrounding Viego.
