In the world of League of Legends, few are unaware of the name LS – the former expert from T1 and a top “mouthpiece” in the LoL community. During the last transfer window of the 2021 season, LS surprised everyone by leaving T1 to become the head coach of Cloud9. He seemed to fit well with the new team, and C9 was in the top 4 of the LCS Spring 2022 with a record of 3 wins – 2 losses.

However, recently, C9 unexpectedly announced the firing of LS, shocking the League of Legends community. Notably, LS was fired just a few hours ago, right before C9 was set to face Counter Logic Gaming on the morning of February 20 (Vietnam time). The announcement from C9 about parting ways with LS came about 2 hours ago, but LS himself stated that he was informed more than 4 hours before the official announcement from C9 and that he was also unclear about the reasons for his firing.

According to many speculations from the Western LoL community, it is possible that there was internal conflict. Everyone knows that LS is famous for being outspoken and blunt. He has even criticized Eastern League of Legends harshly, despite previously working for T1 – a team from South Korea. Some even suggest that C9 might be trying to “cosplay” T1 and DRX as both teams changed their coaches and saw improved results.

Nevertheless, all of this remains based on unfounded speculation, and those involved have not provided any further information related to the incident. It is known that after firing LS, C9 lost to CLG and is now becoming a target of criticism and mockery from the global LoL community.
