BronzeV is known as one of the biggest names in the professional Mobile Legends scene in Vietnam. He was once a key player in famous teams like Saigon Phantom, Adonis Esports… and served as an Assistant Coach for Mocha ZD Esports.
In addition, BronzeV is also a popular streamer with a YouTube channel boasting over 65k followers.
However, recently, he has become the center of attention in the League of Legends community… in a rather negative way, as some players have accused this player of “copying” the stage name of a popular streamer in the League of Legends scene: Bronze 5 (or Brcnze 5, previously known through the channel Cậu Vàng).

It can be seen that although there is a certain difference (the last character is V compared to 5), the meanings of the two names are almost identical, inspired by the lowest rank in the game (in League of Legends, before the Iron rank, Bronze 5 was the lowest rank), implying a self-identification as a “noob”.
However, League of Legends players pointed out that the Bronze 5 rank does not exist in Mobile Legends, and questioned why a Mobile Legends player would choose a name… that has nothing to do with the game?

Many League of Legends players, after reading the article, criticized and mocked BronzeV as well as the Mobile Legends community with rather harsh words. Meanwhile, there were also many opposing opinions coming to defend this male streamer, while criticizing those who joined the insults.

According to these players, BronzeV’s name has been established for a long time, even around the same time that Bronze 5 of League of Legends became known. Additionally, most Mobile Legends players and professional players are also League of Legends players, so even though Mobile Legends does not have a Bronze 5 rank, the popular meme “Bronze 5 veteran” in the Vietnamese gaming community makes it understandable that some streamers would share the same name as this rank.
Furthermore, BronzeV and Bronze 5 are not the only cases of two identical names; even a simple example is Uzi – a name used by both the legendary ADC of RNG and the former support of Saigon Fantastic Five – Lê Thanh Hà. Therefore, the issue of name duplication is not something significant enough to spark such senseless debates.
