As we know, at VCS Spring 2024, a series of long-standing famous names are no longer directly involved in the tournament, such as MC Minh Nghi, Mai Dora, or commentators Hoàng Luân and Văn Tùng. In this context, MC Remind has become the only female face still working at the event. However, she continues to make many serious mistakes, particularly in communication with players, culminating in the incident of confusing BeanJ’s name with Taki’s twice in just a few minutes of a brief interview. This situation led to the female MC receiving countless “rocks thrown” at her.
Afterwards, MC Remind almost completely disappeared from all activities of VCS Spring 2024, including predicting match results or interviewing players. Many rumors circulated around the incident, and many believe that the female MC may have ended her “affair” with VCS. Not to mention, when mentioning the beautiful female MC, the VCS audience community always erupts into endless debates, and perhaps Remind is aware of this.
In a recent stream since her near disappearance from VCS Spring 2024, MC Remind finally confirmed she would leave the largest League of Legends tournament in Vietnam. She stated: “Actually, Remind was not fired, everyone. I was not fired at all. It’s just that I needed some time to reflect. I thought a lot about whether I fit with VCS and the MC profession. So Remind considered the matter and decided to ask for permission to take a break from VCS.”
Remind herself also admitted that she simply thought she was not suited to the MC profession, which had nothing to do with the criticism or negative reactions from the community. Additionally, MC Remind revealed that she already has another job. On the night of February 27 – early morning of February 28, MC Remind also made a post in English about saying goodbye to VCS, but the post disappeared within less than an hour. Afterwards, the female MC replaced it with a post in Vietnamese.
Any separation will certainly leave many mixed opinions. And perhaps, MC Remind has thought carefully before making her decision. After all, the VCS fans surely hope that regardless of her choice, she will succeed in the future.
