August “Riot August” Browning is a senior member of the champion design team for League of Legends at Riot Games. He is the designer of the two sisters Jinx and Vi, the champion considered the most balanced in League of Legends currently – Jhin, as well as Ekko and Gnar. Additionally, Riot August is behind the reworks of Kayle and Morgana. It can be said that the champions created by Riot August play an important role in the development history of the game.

However, after the project to adjust Wukong, Riot August has not had any new updates about his new product. Instead, he occasionally posts “comedic” videos about champion effects like Nautilus pulling across the map, Jhin shooting Nautilus… Recently, it seems that Riot August has been posting such videos a bit too much, which has caused some colleagues to be a bit “frustrated”.

Riot Mortdog: “It really looks like a disaster.”
Riot August: “Sorry Mort, it really is a masterpiece.”

Riot Blautoise: “August.”
Riot Phreak: “It’s still July, take it easy, buddy.”
Riot Blautoise: “I really want to quit this company, but I can’t.”
Riot August: “I miss TikTok too much.”

Commentator Ender: “Maybe you should use this time to do something useful. For example, turn those cats into Nautilus.”
Riot August: “Great idea. Just wait, I’ll turn those cats into my favorite commentator – Riot Vedius.”
Riot Vedius: “Now, let’s talk about this. What if we replaced it with Nocturne’s face? Hypothetically speaking. I’m just saying, mathematically, his ultimate is terrifying, but just imagine his face charging at you.”
Riot August: “That sounds too terrifying; people would stop playing League of Legends.”

Although he is being “criticized” by colleagues, Riot August is actually developing a new champion, as he once revealed that the new champion he is working on will have an extremely complex passive. The champions that Riot August has designed have always been incredibly balanced, so even though he has a bit of a “comedic” touch, we can trust that his new product will be very interesting.
